美国留学签证需要多久？
如果材料备齐，签证官认为你没什么可问的，一般很快就可以得到结果了，快的话可能几分钟就搞定；但如果被签证官认为有“疑义”或是“问题”的申请人就会被延长询问时间甚至因此被拒签。
申请F1的学生签证通常需要20分钟左右的时间。如果签证官认为有问题或需进一步确认，则需要更长的时间和更多的提问。 面谈前请注意以下事项： 1.请确认你的护照有效期超过6个月并且在签证有效期内; 2.准备好签证所需材料和人民币（现钞）。 3.不要带过多现金入境。 4.提前熟悉并准备签证问答。
5.提前到达使领馆，以免错过预约时间。
6.仔细阅读《非移民签证申请指南》(URL/china/)了解有关签证的信息和须知。 7.在签证过程中，申请人应遵循签证官员的要求进行签证面谈，切勿存在侥幸心理或者故意弄虚作假。一旦违反上述规定将被拒绝入境甚至被追究相应的刑事或行政法律责任。

Q：去美国做什么？ Why going to U.S.A？ A：上中学/大学/研究生。 Which subjects do you like at school？ What's your major？ Q：在哪里上学？ Where will you study in US？ A：XX University， XX City. Can you say its full name and city in English？ Please speak slowly and make it clear for me. Do they have any other names or translations in Chinese？ Is it a private or state university？ Q：学校怎么样啊？ What is the reputation of this school？ How many students are there？ It’s so small， isn’t it？ Are most student live on campus？ Does it provide housing service？ Who will take care of my daily life？ I think such a small college can't meet all my demands for studies， right？ You should go to top universities if possible！ Which one would you recommend？... Q： 推荐一下大学吧！ Which one will you advise me to choose， USC or UCLA？ Tell me more about UC system please！ Q： 在国内学了什么专业来美国继续学吗？ Will you continue your major here after graduation from high school？ Or will you change something else？
For example， maybe you want to transfer to engineering department since you don't find mathematics interesting enough. Maybe science subject has different requirements with that in China. So what shall I prepare before attending classes？ If yes， then which department do you hope to enter？ Q：为什么想要来留学？ Why did you decide to go abroad for further education？ And why not stay back in China？ Because of good environment， better opportunity……And now more importantly because of love！ Oh， how romantic… But seriously， tell us what really led to these decisions？ Don't be too romantic but realistic when answering. Also note： This question often appears as part of a set of questions designed to determine whether an applicant has been properly motivated to pursue his/her studies rather than just follow someone else’s wishes， e.g. parents'， friend's etc. Be ready！
